CrAzY product buildup/matting from braids.....please help ladies

I have tried Robin's method and it did not work for me. Any other ideas/suggestions? I lost alot of hair trying to remove the front row of braids.....please help me ladies.

When I remove braids, I first wet the braid then apply a very creamy conditioner along it, then unravel the braid. It works like a charm.
