I just want to see if you ladies think anything could be wrong with this. :look:

I am now texturized and I have a hard time with detangling. A real PJ here so I have bought the bar out trying to find products to make it easier. What I fell upon was a method, I comb my hair into 4 sections and and plait it with a small band on the end to keep the braid in. Once I finish my whole head, I slap on the conditioner for a while and co/wash without taking the braids down. I have even clarified w/ ACV and not taken the braids down. It makes it much easier to bun my hair after washing. Do you think this is okay? Considering I don't take the braids down during the wash?

There are several women on the board who do this, with great results. I am one of them. :) It eliminates excess tangling and the need for combing. My hair dries in the braid (that i wind into a bun) and i've managed to moisturize thru co-washing while also avoiding excess manipulation! Its a win-win, IMO.

Thanks ladies! Where have I been? I had no idea about this. Just happened upon it by chance!

Sounds like a fabulous idea to me. You get the benefit of the co-wash, without the danger of the excess manipulation of free hair. I say go for it.

I do that everytime I wash my hair. I used to put a wig cap on and then put the poo or con on. Either way, it works out fine for me.

This is how I condition wash my hair -:) - it avoids the need for excessive combing to detangle.

Good luck, CD
