Did my first cowash last night and decided to wear my hair down today. I don't like the feel of my hair. I guess there's too much product on it to enjoy the normal bounce and swing that I get after an actual shampoo. I think I'll do cowashes on days I plan to wear my hair up in a bun and if I plan to wear it down I know I'll need to shampoo.

Anybody else had this experience?

I have good success with my co washes when I do them. I use Keracare Humecto in the tub not the runny kind in the bottle.....ugh. Did you deep condition after the co wash?

i'm thinking i probably did a product overload. i didn't deep condition but i did conditioner wash with a conditioner and rinsed it out and then i put a heavier conditioner on with a plastic bag and took my shower and then rinsed when i got out. after that i applied Neutrogena Triple Moisture (lots of it) and then sealed with oil and airdried. my hair felt great until i started flat ironing it. all of the moisture and oil was too much. my hair doesn't have any movement and seems greasy. i'll have to re-read the cowash threads and make sure i'm doing it right.
