I was wondering if anyone could please recommend any good books that deal with black hair, especially natural hair. Thanks for recommending in advance.
although her hair is permed she has a really good technique for all nautral and chemically relaxed african american women.
her website is ubhpublications.com
her products are great also. i mixed her dew recently with some suave conditioner and olive oil to make it a leave in creme.
When my hair was permed i gain significant inches in 3 months about 3 inches.
Now that I'm natural I'm going to follow her regimen again, I strayed from it thinking it won't work for natural hair, but it does becaue her regimen is all about mositure to retain hair.
"Hair Rules:The Ultimate Hair-Care Guide for Women with Kinky, Curly, or Wavy Hair" by A. Dickey is an excellent book for people with natural and relaxed hair in my opinion. I got it at a Barnes and Noble for $13.95 plus tax.
I concur with A Christian: Hair Rules. I have read the book on several different occasions. It offers clear, straight-forward advice, most of with which I agree.

My sister brought this book (Ultra Black Hair Growth II) and it is good. This is the only hair book that I read. I usually depend on online information but this book is DEFINITELY helpful.

I agree, once you get the basics of moisture balance and what products conflict with others, a hair care plan is easy to maintain..
