Hello Ladies, I have been lurking on this board (member since 2005) and became a PJ for sure (Just ordered Mega Tek). This is my question and hopefully you can provide some insight. I used to relax my hair every 4-6 weeks, of course it thinned, so I 'm nursing it back to health. I started adding the Indian Oils Brinj. and Maj. to my regime back in January. Now this is what I need insight on.....I have not had a full relaxer /touch up in my hair since November 07. You can only tell it when my hair is wet and it gets poofy. But when I blow dry it, it looks as if I have a semi fresh relaxer in. This is scary to me, because I KNOW what type of hair I have. The kicker is, its definitely growing because I had it cut in a bob in August, the back was cut up high off my neck. Now it's touching my shoulders! But, I don't see or feel alot of new growth!:lachen: So I'm trying to figure out, what in the BLUE HELL is going on with my hair????!!!!!!!!! Can anyone shed some light on this. Oh yeah, I shed like crazy too. Thanks!

Do you know what your hair texture is? It may be that either your hair is now in a much better condition it takes to styling easier or your hair (with proper care) is now revealing its true texture which in your case may mean you don't actually need a relaxer?:drunk:

I thought it was a 4a/b when I was getting relaxed every 4-6 weeks. It still poofs up when it's wet and looks a little frizzy when humidity hits it or I sweat from working out.
