The High Priestess needs help with dry natural hair. My hair seems to become immune to moisture products I use.
Could someone advise me on what conditioner is the ultimate for moisture.
Thank you sooooo much in advance.
Well first I would recomend cholesterol and a warm damp towel or heat cap and to stay away from any hair dyers for a while if you're using them. It could e your shampoo drying the hiar check and see if it has alcohol or lauyl sulfates in it.

For intense moisturizing, I like sleeping with conditioner on my hair covered by a plastic cap. I rinse in the morning then spray throughout the day if necessary.
Thanks Lucia, I've used cholesterol..."Queen Helene". My hair will not respond properly anymore.
Thanks SVT,
I wish I could sleep that way. Unfortunately, the plastic cap would not stay on my head.
How about using Saran wrap instead of a cap? Also there are a few people that haven't had as much luck with "Queen Helene" as they have with "LeKair". Might be worth a try.
I think Supergirl once posted oils that penetrate the hair shaft and moisturize. I think avocado was one and maybe coconut? I know jojoba was another and is supposed to be very similar to our natural sebum.
Have you tried using CON moisturizing and detangling shampoo? It's really moisturizing. Another thing to consider is that perhaps you have product build up on your hair hence the reason it is not longer responding to the products you're using. Perhaps a clarifying shampoo is what you need to use, then follow that with a moisturizing conditioner like Smooth and Sleek or UBH Conditioner or Aubrey Organics GPB... and deep condition (meaning wear a plastic cap and go under a medium heat dryer for about 20 mins so your hair cortex can expand and allow the conditioner to penetrate). Rinse using cool water and perhaps let your final rinse be an ACV one to make sure no residue remains. Then while your hair is slightly damp apply one of those penetrating oils or a mixture of those and a creme moisturizer. And maybe keep a mixture of oil/water spritz with you for all day moisturizing as mentioned above. A search for "moisturizers" on the forum might give you more ideas on good leave-ins. Oh yeah, and stay away from heat, as Lucia said.
Have you (to borrow form Supergirl) clarified recently? That seems to help me. And I had very good success with Aussie Moist conditioner the other day. My hair was very soft, moisturized and had a natural shine/sheen. It was my first time using it though and I had clarified before I tried it.
