I was just researching online the properties of 'coconut fatty acid' because it's in nearly all the aubrey organic conditioners and wanted to see if it could be purchased like SAA, panthenol e.t.c

I ended up on this website
http://www.bubbleandbee.com/Organiclabelinglies.html

I'm not sure if it's all truth or the company trying to bash 'Aubrey' as i don't know any other company that sells a conditioner with a coconut cream base except for them.

So what do you guys think?

Bashing and speculation. A chemist could have deconstructed the ingredients and called a spade a spade.

COCONUT FATTY ACID CREAM BASE — Absorption base containing essential fatty acids, coconut fatty alcohols from palm kernels, aloe vera and vitamins A, C and E. Rich in linoleic and linolenic acids (vitamin F), excellent nutrients and skin conditioners. In hair care products, it is often combined with the important amino acids cysteine and methionine, which are high in sulfur and excellent for the hair and scalp.
this is what i found on ao site

I would never trust a source that benefits from discrediting another organization or product. I'd need to see a study from a neutral party before I can accept such findings.

They are very tricky to not give any proof but still leave you wondering.

At the same time, it looks like they're calling their's 'saponified oils of organic coconut'. :scratchch

Either way I love what the product does for MY hair....and I still have all of it....and its healthy :)

Didn't click the link...but AO's "coconut fatty acid cream base" is just cetyl alcohol with some stuff mixed in. It's nothing special or harmful. Some of their conditioners show the full labeling (ie cetyl alcohol) while other ones don't. They use the "coconut fatty acid cream base" labeling to make the ingredient sound more "natural" to the consumer.
