Has anyone gotten a corrective relaxer done? How did your hair react? Did you experience any breakage? And how long did you wait to get it done?

Theres a thread abt the process of getting a corrective relaxer! just search for it! i know they normally recommend that you wait 4-6 wks to have one done. it is done like a reg relaxer except for the las few min relaxer get appied to the hair shaft and then rinsed out! i would definitely search because the thread goes into more details!

DONT DO IT!!! THIS IS THE REASON WHY I AM ALL NATURAL NOW.

your hair has already lost layers on the cuticle from due to prior relaxing right? Just think about if you put relaxer on top of relaxed hair? thin, thin, gone...

For this reason, I am had to do a big chop 3 1/2 years ago.

I read the title and was coming in here to say DON'T DO IT as well. Just wait it out to 8 weeks. I experienced major breakage trying to do this mess.
