TRANSITION OVER! 11-22-14
I am sick and tired of not knowing how to braid. This challenge will finally end this natural challenge that has plagued me for years. My ideal BC date is a year. Today, I am 3 months post. A small goal reached.:clapping: I need all the tips and support I can get.:yep: As of today, I am ending all other hair challenges until this goal is reached.

Lol, have you watched any tutorials on youtube? What helped me was to visualize it when I wasn't actually doing it. I would take out my cousins cornrows and just do them over.

Yeah, I have watched you tube videos until I'm blue in the face.:ohwell: I just need to figure out how to do my hand placements. I see why some women who braid have arms of steel. My arms are killing me.:look: At least I'll get some fitness aspects out of this.:yep:

I am so happy for you DDT! I am getting my hair braided in a couple weeks, cuz I am just tired of dealing with it and trying to figure if I wanna transition or texlax it, so I settled to just get it braided and keep it braided for awhile. I am so happy you have made a milestone LOL!!!! Keep going, you will make it.

Thanks SB! I'm trying to get the hang of braids, but if I can't, I will become a twist queen.:yep: I hate the fact that I can't braid, but it won't stop me from reaching my goal of transitioning in one way or another! When I was texlaxed, I was really uneducated about my hair. My hair grew well and thrived. I was able to do wash n gos and strait styles without abusing heat. Now I am learning more and I think I will be successful whether I BC to go natural or BC to texlax. I will know in a year what I'm doing.:drunk: I am so looking forward to doing protective styles and having them hold on their own.:yep: SB, you and I will have a successful 2010. I am not going to be BCing to a baby fro. I need more hair to practice protective styles and possible roller sets to avoid hair boredome. It sounds like we're in the same boat.
