Cornrolls and braiding hair and breakage!!!!!!

Hey everyone on the site who has braided or cornrolled their har...do u all gets lots of breakage during the process??

Im really upset.I lost maybe like 200-300 hairs, and im really worried that my hair may no longer be in its tip-top shape. Also, does my being 12 weeks post relaxer have anything to do to it

Are you talking about breakage or shed hairs? Before braiding you should completely detangle your hair and maybe keep a spray detangler handy for when you come to the trouble spots.

I don't suffer from serious shedding or breakage, since following the crown & glory technique. It may be the relaxer.

I don't experience any breakage, but I do experience subnormal shedding (less than 100 hairs total for the week) hairs. I keep my hair in the cornrows for a week at a time.
