Considering Going Black

I am considering dyeing my hair black. I haven't had black hair since high school. I don't want a harsh look and I like to acquire great shine. Are there any suggestions?

I use Revlon Color Silk #10 the look of it in my SIGGY, my hair feels great and it doesn't dry me out or Fade
