Thanks OP! This has me teary eye'd as I am dealing with the thinning of my crown area.

I can soooo identify with her feelings of not recognizing/identifying with the (hair disappearing) person in the mirror. And the silent dread of washing & loosing more.

I love her! I don't follow her politics closely but everytime I've heard her speak or seen her, I've thought to myself that I could see her as a the first Black female POTUS. So brave and awesome of her to share this with us. I'm rooting for her!

I read pieces of her message and when she said she tried everything she knew, I couldn't help but think that she needs to find her way here. Some of those things she listed did not sound really helpful to her situation. Ayanna, come join us girl! We're just a Google search away. I have reading a lot about hair loss. We associate balding/hair loss with men but the more i look around I realize that there are quite a bit of women that have hair loss as well.

I hope she finds the cause and can reverse it.
