Your hair was and still is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!! I've been in hiding stalking some natural journals and to my surprise Tiff made the big chop as well. Your hair is sooooooooooooooooooooooo thick and pretty!

That was ALOT of hair she chopped off!!!

And she looks GREAT!!!!!!! Her hair looks nice, soft, and shiny. And best of all she looks happy. 100% natural...you go girl!!! (I can't wait to join you)

Congrats Tffy!! I've been trying to leave comments in your fotki but it's been acting weird lately.

WOW I was just about to start a thread annoucing that I did my BC but RootDeep you beat me to it

Thank you to all the ladies who have been to my album and posted those wonderful comments and thank you to the ladies who posted your comments here on LHCF.

Pokahontas, I don't what the deal is with my fotki, I have it set where anyone can post a comment but I will go back and make sure and I will also add you as a friend if I haven't.

I was at first just planning on doing the back half so I could see my texture but once I saw it I had to go ahead and finish. Not quite sure what my hair type is just yet but in the coming months it will be more evident. My husband loves it. He use to joke around not wanting me to have a fro but he can't keep his hand off........................
THE FRO(and me)

Anywho, I am extremely happy to be natural. Even though I can't really do much with my fro I still love every inch of it. I'm just gonna sit back and watch it grow.

As for my regimen, here is what I do, every morning I put conditioner VO5 Tea Therapy and olive oil on my hair, put on a shower cap and leave it on long enough to eat breakfast and drink a cup of coffee or tea. I detangle with my shower comb just before rinsing it out. After all the conditioner is out I put on my turbie towel for not even a minute then I grease my scalp and spray each section as I grease my scalp with braid spray.

Once I am done I put on a head band, fluff my fro, and I'm ready to go.

Every Friday I shampoo my hair with VO5 Tea Therapy.

So thats pretty much it. The products in my regimen are as follows:
VO5 Tea Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner
Olive oil
Blue Magic hair grease mixed with a little MTG
Braid Spray

I really like being able to wash my hair everyday. Thanks again to everyone showing the love and support.

Congrats on your chop!! Your hair looks great! :)

Did you chop ahead of schedule? I had a feeling you might --- I did the same thing because I grew tired of all the hassle and strawsetting.

What styles do you have planned next?

I bet it's so liberating. Congrads to your beautiful hair!

Thanks for sharing the love everyone, I really appreciate it.

Yes I did do the chop ahead of schedule, 6 months ahead to be exact. In the beginning I wanted to transition for a year but I didn't make it.

congrats tty2004 welcome to the natural side ...happy healthy growing to you!! your hair is looking good :-)
