hi ladies... I have major breakage in my crown and now I cant cover it up I look like a mullet head,unless I wear a wet bun or curly rollerset.. my 3inch crown up against almost brastrap hair is not cute when straightend... anyone been there if so how long did it take to recover? I just trimmed and at least my breakage is even and thick now...help please

I am having that problem right now. My hair is about shoulder lenght but my crown is like 1 inch. I hate it. My crown broke because of the ponytail holders I was using for my buns.
Want i have decided to do is wear braids. I am going to try to wear braids for about a year without a relaxer to give my hair a break. I am wearing cornrows now and then I will be wearing individuals for 2 months at a time.
While is braids I will be using Surge 14 and braid moisturer.
