lately, i cant seem to find a good conditoner. i really dont want to deal with cholesterol, i dont want to use any cheap watery conditoner. but i also dont want to pay 6 bucks for a 4 oz. tube either.
so what im asking for, does anyone have a good recommendation for a really good efficient conditoner?
i also dont want to deal with pantene at all.

Have you tried any organic type conditioners like Nature's Gate or any kind at Health Food stores? I am considering myself once I run out Pantene.

nope. ive only purchased conditoners from your local dollar store

basically, im very cheap. i dont like going into beauty supply store. the last thing i have purchased from a BSS was the surge.i almost died in there.
ive basically used Vo5, suave, pantene, cholesterol conditonders. im just tired of em.

Well, you can get natural hair care products at grocery stores like Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. They are not expensive. $3.99 Nature's Gate.

I don't know of any other cheap drugstore products besides the ones you mentioned and those not at a BSS. Sorry.

Hmmm... maybe Garnier Fructis; St Ives (almost any kind); Finesse? All can be found in a drug store and are not expensive, esp St Ives. I can get that for 1.99 at the grocery store.

Well if you can find your way around a BSS, I would definitely recommend Elasta QP DPR-11. It's pretty cheap (only $4 or $5 for a 16 oz tub) and it's really thick. I really like it

I just got the DPR 11! I haven't tried it yet but it smells delicious like peaches I paid $4.99 for 16oz on sale. Another good one to try is Aubrey Organic Glycogen Protein Balancer it's on sale now at the VItamin shoppe for $7.50 for 8oz bottle.

Jasmine,
It might help if we knew what you're looking to achieve with this conditioner? What does your hair need? Are you looking for a daily conditioner, a moisturizing conditioner? protein? How often do you plan on using? And what's your current regime?

Aubrey's is pretty reasonable and goes a long way. Nature's Gate is the find of the century b/c it's all natural, wonderful and c-h-e-a-p!
