I just stumbled upon something. Maybe I'm late to the party on this one, but I was due for my CW. I did a amla oil prepoo last night so I was going to just CW today but when the warm water from the shower hit my hair, I liked the somewhat oily feeling of the lengths of my hair. I decided I didn't want to strip all the oils out with a shampoo, but I probably needed to wash the stuff out. I decided to water down my shampoo with conditioner...lots of it. Then I rinsed and my hair felt pretty nice. Then I said what the heck and then did a regular conditioning with the same conditioner I diluted the shampoo with and Oh My God, My hair felt like silk and was totally detangled. I think I will do this whenever I have to shampoo. Anyone else does this or heard of this? I know I can't possible be the only one bc it seems so simple.

I don't know....I think I was on the short bus :dizzy: :D I guess better late ( & embarassed it took me so long to figure out) than never.

Don't feel bad, tnorenberg...I've been lurking for almost seven months and I've never heard of mixing shampoo and conditioner! If I weren't so heavy handed with my moisturizers, I'd give it a try... It sounds great for summertime quasi-co-washes!
