Has anyone tried these, or similar ones? Do they work on Kinky Hair?

TIA

I did a search on google & here are some reviews on folica (dont know if you have viewed them yet).. People are stating that they fall out easily and leave crimps in the hair.

Thank you, I did see those reviews. I just wanted a textured hair perspective. I took them out my shopping cart :)

I am just looking for something that will help a beginner at rollerseting (me)

Are magnetic rollers good? I looked at threads about using pins and it seemed complicated. I have already tried the clips, I suck at it!

Magnetics are excellent, it just takes time to learn how to place the clips correctly. It took me about a month to get the proper placement.

I've been doing it for 8 months now and it's second nature.

Keep practicing but don't get frustrated and get rough with your hair, those slide in clips will pull your hair out.

Yeah they look like they'd leave crimps to me. I just use the regular duck bill clips, I got the hang of those and use 'em with my caruso's and I get no crimps.

I use them with hot rollers just fine without any crimps. The only part that really touches your hair are the teeth at the bottom and they just grip your hair like a claw clip would.
