Hi girls!

I just signed up today to join this community. I've lurked off and on for a couple of years but finally decided to actually participate more actively. About time, right :lol:

A little bit about myself and my hair - I'm currently relaxed, but I had natural hair for most of my life and I'm hoping to go back to it. I was natural back in 2008 but I rerelaxed in December 08 when I graduated from college. My hair was acting up and I was looking for a job, so I relaxed so that I wouldn't have to stress about fixing my hair for interviews.
Apart from that, my hair is quite healthy and I cut it to my neck back in November (from grazing WL), but I really miss the length so I want to get back there, but with natural hair. I've also been trying to dye it red but the color is not taking right at all :nono:
What else :scratchch - let's see- I'm currently finishing up grad school (full time) so I have to start worrying about finding jobs, etc, so I hope to find some cute styles to wear for that. Also, I'm Ethiopian so I wonder if there are any others here other than me?

Hi! Fasika is actually not my name (though it is a common enough first name). It actually means Easter and it's the Orthodox Easter today - yeah, I'm not particularly creative :lol:
