Coloring of Eyebrows

Ok...I colored my hair and I attempted to lighten my eye brows but it did not worl. For those that have done it what do you use? And how do you do it exactly to match your hair but not be too light?

but I did it when I colored my hair. I used the same color that I used for my hair.

I know, I know, DANGEROUS!!! But it worked out well. Now, it's easier to arch my eyebrows. I just pluck the black hairs.

I think most people with sense use a bleaching cream or eyebrow coloring kits that they sell at Sally's.

I would not advise this for everyone. I don't remember exactly how long, but I think I left it on for about 5-10 minutes. I tried to take a pic, but it didn't show up very well. It's very subtle, but I like it.

i lighted my eyebrows with jonel facial bleaching cream. Boy did i mess up tho. it was going well then i accidentally forgot i had the stuff on!! I left the bleach too long and i had blonde eybrows

i looked like a complete fool.

I did the same thing! Only I didn't realize how bad it was til I saw photos of my self taken that evening. I was mortified!

haha i know! it looked like i had no eyebrows! when my mom saw me she kept staring at me saying something was wrong with my face but she couldnt pick out what it was. When i told her what i did she just shook her head

I bleach my brows first, then I use my hair color on them. I know. Potentially dangerous. But hey, it works great for me. I just make sure I'm extra careful.

! I use Surgi-Cream or Derma-Cream

. It's one of those or something similar. I bought it @ Sally's & I prefer it to Jolene. Though my hair isn't colored I've gotten so used to lightening my brows. My face looks 'off' now when I have dark brows. At first the hair seems resistant to coloring, but after 3 mins or so you should check it. I think I leave it on from 5-8 mins. Some people suck the color right up after those first 3 mins. Half the time I forget momentarily too, but I've never had a major mishap. Also, know that your brows look darker when wet. That's how most people end up w/super light brows. The best part about the cream is that you can reapply if you want to lift more color. So you can peek a million times until you get it just right.

But go a shade darker than you think is light enough, b/c when you dry, it'll the lighter color you want. Can't say it enough!

I was just thinking, woud Hennalucent work to lighten eyebrow or change the color a bit? Give me your thoughts....
