Color Removers... anyone used them?

I wanna highlight my hair but this Midnight by Natural Instincts is not going anywhere so I was thinking about lifting the color slightly to take the highlights better... anyone ever use a color corrector like Color Opps or anything like that?

BTW Clairol Natural Instincts is a semi-permanent an SUPPOSED to wash out in 28 days

My friend used one, and her hair broke off. I dont think she was moisturizing her hair enough though.

Malibu 2000 makes one that isn't harsh at all. It breaks down the color and you can re-color your hair, or not.

I used color oops and it worked for me. I removed all the color out and I was able to color the same day. I saw no damage from it.

Thanks guys... but can color oops be used for semi permanent hair... i dont want it to be all types of crazy colors cause I am not re coloring... just highlighting... So i still want it to be 1 uniform color after i use the remover
