color question!!

okay, i like brightly colored hair...a lot...but my hair is black...jet black...

so, i wonder...if i do one of those color lifts that make your hair a few shades lighter, how long do i have to wait before i can throw one of my punky color or manic panic rinses in and see what i get??

i dont know anything about double processing or anything like that, and i would really prefer not to go bald

as far as i know to use manic panic on dark hair you have to bleach it. otherwise it won't be that BRIGHT color.

what color do you wanna do?

you wanna tip it? or how did you wanna do it?

well, i figure once i lighten my hair color, it will show up more....i just want to color it...
