Hey Ladies!

I just needed some advice. I want to color my hair. I have always had it jet black and I want to try something new. I want highlights but I don't know what color would look good with my skin tone, can u ladies please look at my pic in my siggy and tell me what 2 colors would look good together on me?

Well most colours would probably look good. It deoends on what you want. Do you want it subtle? Do you want it to stand out? Do you want people to see you've coloured it from far?

Remember tho, if it's permanent it's best to colour only the strongest parts - i did that on my crown and I didnt have any problems with breakage or dryness - make sure it's atleast 2 weeks after a relaxer and don't colour to the root!

I was thinking copper, red, and brown. What do you think? I wanted blonde, red, and brown but I don't think the blonde would look right on me. I only want the highlights in the front of my hair, mostly because thats the strongest area. Thank you dimpalz, you were a BIG help!

I think copper red and brown, maybe some fine streaks, the blonde is not a good way to go IMO cos with the red it can look a bit ghetto - unless thats what you're goin for - and it requires a stonger mixture to get the colour to show. I dont think you can go wrong with the subtle tones together. Good luck!

I think a brown,red or burgundy color would look nice on you.

Brown: Bronze or mahagony
Red: Burguny or red copper
