I'm so mad!:wallbash:

But I don't see how I missed the big REVITALIZE COLOR label on the box. It said semi permanent color so I thought the red color would take it. Anyway, see the pics below. How long should I wait before trying w/the correct brand? This happened years ago and I did it immediately after and my hair fell out so I'm not doing it this week!:drunk:

Before "color":

During "color":

??!?!?!

wow thats a shame, the color never takes for me eigther. thats why i just do the BLEACH thing. bleach works in 3mins top!!!

I would take a month just to be on the safe side. Condition and protein are your friends. Even though it's a semi-permanent, it doesn't hurt to be cautious. If it was a rinse, I'd say change it up now. But a lot of semi permanents aren't as gentle. Which brand did you use?

The time span will depend on the health of your hair. If your hair is dry or damaged in any way you need to condition/protein as mentioned by Lady Speedstick to bring hair back into health to where it can withstand and maintain color treatment. It also helps to do a hot oil treatment if you plan to redye hair in a couple of weeks.

Really? And your hair is doing well? I've never done bleach, too scared.

Whats so bad is I saw my friend the next morning and she colored her hair the same color (THAT MORNING!) and her's came out wonderful! I'm not sure if she used permanent color or not.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I can't remember the brand. I just remember it saying Revitalize Color and it said semi perm. I used Keratin Green Tea the next day and will continue to do DC's 2x a week.
