Now I know why a lot of the girls keep their hair in braids or weaves because it is so easy. I just went back to school and between having school and two little ones and a husband it is so hard to do styles and just going. I still have a ta so I could have put another set of two strands in this weekend but I didn't have time. Well I love to cowash and have a lot of stuff to use up but I think convienence may win this one. Any suggestions or would braiding it up be the easiest way?

Your hair is pretty!
Well, I don't have the kids yet, but husband, work and school are all full time jobs for me, so I have to basically schedule when and how I will do my hair. I think you have the right idea, just mix it up. I am not in braids now, I was on and off last year though and found that it helped out some especially since I go to the gym. For the most part I bun, wear twist outs and braid outs and chignons. I like to keep it simple anyway though, I save wearing my hair out for date nights and the like.

Girl your in CO now? I used to live there and the winters are brutal. Not in the Springs but not to far away either. They have winters for like...EVER. Your still cowashing? Anyways I would say it depends on you and what you like. Both should be convenient but a weave may take a little more time because you may have to quickly straighten or touch-up. I'm not sure. But I think it depends on you and what you like. I'm strongly considering a wig now that someone mentioned it to me.

Black Master Piece had a thread up last week about longhairdon'tcare2011 on youtube. She keeps her hair braided most of the time, she has found that if she keeps her hair strecthed it is easier for her to retain her length. I've know keeping my hair in twists helped a lot, so I think going forward I'll try to keep my hair in braids or twist and maintain a low maniulation regimen.
