Aikaa, as I kid, I used to take Scott's Emulsion Cod Liver Oil, and I actually loved it. It was creamy and although it had a distinct taste, it was definitely better than the oily looking Cod Liver Oil.
I have trouble taking flaxseed oil straight but have found that mixing my daily tablespoon in yoghurt makes it a whole lot more palatable. Kinda gives it the creamy texture of the Cod Liver Oil I grew up on, only with a bit of a fruity flavor thrown in. Perhaps you could do the same with your cod liver oil?
