Hi folks - does anyone use it and if so how? What do you like or dislike about 100% natural coconut oil?

Thx

I use coconut oil as part of my pre-shampoo treatment. I like how it complements the coconut milk in the treatment, and it gets my hair nicely moisturised and smelling good. I haven't found anything I dislike about it.

I use coconut oil after I shampoo to seal my hair and impart a nice shine.

I also use it to seal in moisturizer throughout the week. I like it because it's light, and it doesn't have an obnoxious scent.

I love it and have replaced thicker oils with it. :)

Hey there! Long-time lurker making my first post! I've been using coconut oil to seal my moisturizer for about a month and a half now, and I love it! Coconut oil is a great protectant against the winter cold and harsh winds, which I've encountered more of here in London than I would at home or at school! I think the oil kinda solidifies on my hair when I go out, cuz if I touch my hair, it's a little hard...But never dry! I love it!

I am looking forward to using coconut oil on my daughter's hair during this harsh winter season especially with the hats I put on her head.

I am also looking at loc'ing my hair - does anyone know if this causes build up of any sort?

Coconut oil is great.

I use it on wet hair, it makes my hair soft and shiny. It's not too greasy (unless you use too much) and doesn't build up as much as other oils.

It does make your hair hard in winter but I think that's quite cool
If you run your hands over your hair or go somewhere warm it softens up again :)

Coconut oil tends to harden in cold weather, so I use it mainly in the summer or warmer months.

Welcome back HoneyJammz! I was wondering what happened to ya.:D

I looooove coconut oil!

I use it after I wash for everything...seal in moisture, braid my hair, twist my hair, massage my scalp, when I plait my hair at night...

It leaves my hair so soft, and I love the shine.

I love coconut oil.. I use it after shampooing, and every other day. It smells soft, and keeps my fine hair nice and shiny without weighing it down.

I use SPECTRUM Organic Coconut Oil on dry hair as a pre-shampoo treatment or I add it to my conditioners and deep condition. Love it !

I use and like coconut oil, there is nothing I dislike about it, I just prefer other oils over kind.

I agree with what the other posters have said.
