Ok, I am about out of coconut oil and was wondering what is the difference between them or are they the same before I run to the store and purchase some. I don't think my orginal coconut oil was virgin, but mixed with something else it gave me good results. This time I want to try it with the right type of coconut oil. Can someone explain this to me?

OT: I mixed the coconut oil that I do have with a little pure 100% shea butter and rubbed it through my hair last night and on my ends and let me tell you. It's like butter baby!:lachen: My hair is still soft right now. I am loving it.

Mostly the scent. Unrefined is its purest form, so the smell is strong. That one is my favorite.

Is there a certain brand preferred over others? I have yet to try coconut oil.

I have Spectrum, Unrefined, Virgin & Organic (essentially it means the same thing, it's in it's purest form.) Very good stuff.

That's what I thought, but before I went to the organic store, I wanted to make sure that I was right. I will probably make a purchase this week. Thanks guys.
