After I flat iron my hair and wear braidouts. I just rub a small amount all over my hair, and it gives it great shine that lasts all day.

I use mine when deep conditioning and for hot oil treatments. As a matter of fact I used some last night and my hair is supa shiny today.

Coconut oil behaves like a serum on my hair. I use it on wet or dry hair to seal maybe once or twice a week cause it doesnt make my hair soft like my beloved castor.

Yup I use mine after I wash and apply deep conditioner. Its light and keeps my hair shiny and moisturized

i wash my hair and apply leave in conditioner. Then I seal in the conditioner and the water with the coconut oil

I use mine mixed into my rollersetting concoction and I rub a little in my hair before I re-roll at night before bed. I also use it on wet hair to seal my moisture. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

I was using it daily to seal my moisturizer, but I had to put it aside. I think I was using too much, because it seemed to build up on my hair! I still use it on occasion, especially in my conditioners. I think I'm too heavy-handed with it to use it directly on my hair. It's great for the skin, so sometimes I mix it with my body lotion.

I use it on my twists for the twist-out style. It makes my hair shiny, easy to detangle and leaves well-defined frizz-free waves.

I use it after I co-wash as a sealer and a detangler. It is the only thing that kept my hair from breaking when I had massive tangles after stretching. It also is great for your skin.

I use a brand called Spectrum unrefined coconut oil. I got it at Railey's. You can also buy it at Whole Foods. It has an interesting smell....very nutty like...but no worse that the restorative Ojun treatment. It actually smells kind of tropical, but I always mix it with an essential oil.

Be careful, I would hate for this to catch fire:eek:

I wouldn't think that it would. It's in a heavy bottle and my radiator only get's so warm. But thanks, I never thought of that. (I use my radiator, not a space heater)

I use it to seal daily and sometimes I use it by itself. I like how it's so light and dosen't weigh my hair down. I also use it when I slick my hair back into a ponytail because I like for my hair to have that reflective shine and coconut oil does that like no other.

Check out this random pic I snapped after using coconut oil.....http://public.fotki.com/Pokahontas/new-pics-1-4-07/random-pics/pic007.html.....now that's the kind of shine I like!

Blinding shine! I love it!:D

I use a dab of coconut oil on damp hair to seal in moisture and give my hair some shine. It works really well.
