Did anyone have a problem over the summer time with bees or bugs trying to follow your head or bite your scalp because of the coconut oil, because it is a food, and a sweet food at that...

USE SPARINGLY, that *ish melts in the heat. You will be sweating grease literally. Pure coconut oil doesn't really smell sweet. HTH.

No! Probably because I've only used the refined (not virgin) coconut oil, which doesn't smell.
