Coconut Milk to rinse hair?

Who uses this to rinse their hair and what does it do to the hair? Is it moisterizing? Does it leave build up in the hair?

I use pretty regularly to pretreat or co-wash my hair. I've never used as a rinse.

PRETREAT: apply coco milk straight onto dry hair and massage throughout scalp and hair. Apply 'poo ON TOP of the coco milk and work thru. Rinse throughly and proceed with condish. It is the creamiest, moistest? most lavish suds to ANY 'poo and leave hair clean and super moisturized.

CO-WASH: apply coco milk straight onto dry hair and massage throughout scalp and hair (as you would with 'poo). Rinse throughly and proceed with condish. Gets hair much cleaner than if only using condish.

Niquah - I use the entire can each time 'cause I like to totally saturate my hair, which is thick 4B and gotten pretty long over the last few years - I hit brastrap last fall! Back in the day when my hair was just past shoulder length, I would use half a can and store the other half in the fridge but it does spoil within a week so if you're not gonna wash again for more than a week, then put in freezer just to safe (but then you have to remember to thaw it out before washing and this is where I'd just forget to take out of the freezer or wash my hair on a whim and I would end up using a fresh can and have like 4 or 5 half cans in my freezer -- so I just started using the whole can, which is only like .99 cents)

Nice - I've used quite a few different brands and they all work fine, but I have a preference for any Thai brand coconut milk because seems to be a bit thicker and creamier then the others . . .

I use coconut milk and I love it. It is very moisturizing and gives my hair a nice softness and shine. I mix a little honey in it and pre-poo with it. Watch what brand you get though, I hear one of them stinks, I think it's Goya but I forgot (sorry). The kind I get smells good, like fresh coconuts. I used to get it at wal-mart, I think it's called LCD or something. I haven't been able to find it there lately though.

Lol, I thought that was the one. I've heard people say it has a fishy smell. I was surprised because the one I used smelled good enough to eat. Out of curiosity I got goya but I know I"m not using it now.
