This might be a silly question, but I'm still learning about the various products that are good for the hair. So, is cocoa butter one of those? Or is that just strictly for the skin only? Thanks in advance!

I use cocoa butter to seal my hair. I lift the cuticle by wetting the hair, and then apply a good moisturizing condish like Suave Humectant. Then I take a small bit of cocoa butter in my hands and rub them briskly to melt it. I apply that to my hair to seal it, and it really helps my hair retain moisture.

I do this when I am cornrowing my hair for a weave or to put under a wig, or when I am putting in Crown & Glory braids. (do a search on this method if you aren't familiar with it yet.)

Best of luck to you.
