shampoo and conditioner. Have any of you tried it? I got the little sample pack of conditioner from Sally's once, but it was nothing spectacular in my opinion. I was only able to test it out on a small section of my hair since it was just a packet.

I've never heard of it

.

It's so funny because there are sooo many hair products out there, it's enough to boggle your mind!!

In the past, I would go into the BSS or drugstore and pick up any hair product that caught my eye for whatever reason, but now I never try anything new until I come here and do a search to find out if anyone here has tried it!!

Cuz chances are, if it's any good, SOMEONE here will have tried it and posted a rave review!!

Yep, LHCF is a great place to get our 411 on hair products. A few ladies have raved about the Silk Elements Glossing Polish/Serum, but I think that's it. It's sold exclusively at Sally's.

I've seen the line at Sally's and was thinking about trying it when the cashier girl started trying to push me into getting it and raving about it like she was on commission, so I put it back

I have tried the Cholesterol conditioner and the one in the packet. I wasn't impressed.

The products gave me no slip at all. My hair was harder to comb than usual and that's the last thing I need!

I know this is trifling, but the woman hair on the Silk Elements poster in the store looked as dry as a dog biscuit!

DOG BISCUIT! What an analogy!

I tried the conditioner when it first came out. It was okay, but nothing to get overly excited about. It reminded me of Motions Moisture Plus, which isn't a bad thing, but I have other conditioners I like better.

For me, their Mega Cholesterol provides lots of slip and makes my hair soft and moisturizied after drying. The Glossing Polish is excellent. It kinda reminds me of the Biosilk Silk Therapy. The Moisturizing shampoo felt more like a clarifying shampoo.

I hated it. I tried the Luxury Moisturizing conditioner and it practically balled my hair up.

People HAVE been on here raving about the silk elements conditioner. I picked up the sample pack (when I was returning the ion hood dryer). I tried it and did not like it at all. It felt yucky on my hair. I could just feel it coating my hair and imagined it leaving a dull film because of how it felt on my hands. I'm glad I only purchased the sample. I'm happy with the conditioners I use, but since the sample pack was right there, I tried it. I saw it many times before and only got it this time because of the raves it was getting on here. I'll stick to what works for me, like I've been doing. Nothing works for us all.

Re: Co-worker/hair buddy is raving abt. Silk Eleme

I really liked the way Silk Elements Cholesterol performed on my hair. But I'm trying to cut out products with mineral oil when poss. so I probably won't be buying again.

Re: Co-worker/hair buddy is raving abt. Silk Eleme

I tried the shampoo and conditioner and did not like either one. They did absolutely nothing for my hair. I eventually threw them out. Thank goodness I got it when it was buy one get one free. I would never buy them again.

I love the Silk Elements cholesterol, since I must have one cholesterol in my product choices at all times. It gives me lots of slip, makes my hair very soft and has even replaced my beloved Proclaim Cholesterol.

Okay I do remember several posts in which members were really happy with the results after using the cholesterol by silk elements. Maybe you should bump this thread a couple of times to make sure everybody sees it.
