i plan on doing my first Co wash, and i want to start doing hot oil treatments when i wash my hair with shampoo because i love the results. I was wondering if it is necessary to do a hot oil treatment after i do a CO wash?

Welcome to the board Tink :) It is not necessary to do hot oil treatments after a co wash, well at least I never have, I only do it after I actually shampoo

I do a Hot oil treatment whenever water hits my hair...
Just the fact that I'm manipulating it, I figure it doesn't hurt.
If I have to treat my hair as if I'm "washing it" then I can do the treatment b4 hand too! :look:
I treat b4 & I put my leave-ins after...

Its not necessary, but I used to do a hot oil treatment after my CO washes to seal in more moisture, but my hair doesn't like that anymore, so I have stopped doing them. I only do one overnight oil treatment during the week.
