So, I went out recently wearing a straight half wig. It looked great until I started to dance a little and the humidity started to make it poof and separate.

Is there anything I could do to make my hair club-proof? My hair is texlaxed 4 b.

Thanks!

I went to the club a few days ago and I moisturized and sealed before I left. My hair was styled in bantu knots and I had no problems.

I do big tight curls...they just start falling as the night goes on, but the more they fall the better they look to me.

Did White Rain make a hair spray that was humidity proof? :ohwell: I know, I know my hair would never move and I'd have to cut it out.

What I do is wear a wavy or curly (not too curly though LOL) when I go to the club (see my siggy) I wear a half wig like Hannah and put a black medium elastic headband on (you can't really see the headband when I have it on) pushing it slightly forward to make a SMALL hump in the front. That way, if your hair frizzs up, you can't really tell because it'll be mixed in among the curls/waves. I also use alittle Elasta QP glaze on my edges and brush back alittle before I put the elastic band on.

My hair started to poof. I was wearing a New Hair wig that has the U-shaped cutout.

Ohhh... I just cover all my hair up with the wig bc I don't want it to fuzz. Oh yeah, have you thought about using curl wax? That's how I got my flat ironed hair to stay straight during the summer. Just take some and smooth it over the front of your hair with your hands. Then brush it down. Or you can put a scarf on for a little while. Don't use a lot. I like the Elasta QP one.

Oh! I know just the type of wig you mean, so you could have a part in the middle of your head. I like those too. I'm thinking... If I come up with an idea, I'll be back.:yep:

I spray on Herbal Essences spray gel through hair and THEN style. I noticed that spraying hairspray after I finshed semi reverted my hair -- then light mist of humidity resistant hair spray - Aussie and Ion make good ones - finish up the ends on low low heat to seal and voila.

All good suggestions so far, please keep them coming. I don't want to have run to the bathroom every five minutes like I did. It left me feeling so insecure.
