I just wanted to show a pic of the clip-in extensions that I added to my fotki. They are GREAT! I slept in them a few nights, and they didn't hurt my head..however I would recommend just taking them out every night. They only take 5-10 mins to put in...and if you don't sleep in them they keep their style very well. It's not damaging to my natural hair, they are quick, and they look great. It's a great option for those that like to play with length without a significant investment or having to go to a stylist to sew them in. http://www.fotki.com/akgirl

Thanks so much for this post. I'm about to take out my glue in and try clip ins for the first time tomorrow. I bought the snap clips from sally's and I'm going to make some from extra hair I have at home. Each time I see someone wear these they look good. The sew ins were ruining my hair even though I was getting a lot of growth. I am now excited to try these! :) Could I ask what brand you bought and are they synthetic or real? Could you maybe take pics of how they did the wefts?

If you check out the pic in the last link I posted above, the clip has a comb on it and it just bends to "clip-in" to your hair. Kind of like those barrettes that bend to snap-in to your hair

I created a couple threads about this. Here are couple pictures. One is with Beverly Johnson clip in and then when i was done with that hair i took it off and used wet and wavy

No i took the beverly johnson hair and measured it to the wet and wavy and used the clips from the old beverly johnson hair.

The front part of my hair i three strand braided so it would blend better.
The wet 'n wavy ones are hot! Did you buy them with the clips already in?

What brand of wet and wavy hair did you use? I love all the clip in styles posted.

ha ha too funny, mine hair is in braid wet and wavy of course but i think when im done with this string of hair style i may go back to the clip ins

I like the wet and wavy better because i didnt have to put any heat. With the beverly johnson it was hard keeping my hair as silky, I had to use more heat than i wanted:perplexed

I have done chinese buns and a couple huge buns with the clip in they are wonderful
great pic! i didn't take one today but that is EXACTLY how mine was :)

(my hair is in a pile on the coffee table as i type)

I added two more pics to my fotki, no pwd needed, they are at the end and clearer than the first one.

I was just thinking of trying to find some hair to make some clip ins this week. I used to make them all the time. Thanks for posting your pics!

Ok, which ones did you get? Which type of clip on and which number if you remember. They have a ton. I like that these don't have that ridiculous shine. Please let me know. My credit card is hopping around in my handbag.

OMG!!!!! I am so getting these. I googled futura for more images. THANK YOU SO MUCH. THEY ARE AWESOME LOOKING - I HATE THE SHINE THE "OTHER" ONES. I'm gonna check my BS today.

I am very eager to find out about these clip ins but I want to make my own...is it okay to sleep with them in your hair or is it absolutely necessary to remove them before bedtime, if they are made of human hair? Also, would they hold better if pinned on corn-rowed hair or not? Thanks in advance.

Also, where do I buy these clips from?
