Cleaning Rollers

Do you clean your rollers, especially your magnetic ones. I feel like my rollersets aren't as good as when I first got my rollers, so I wonder if I need to soak them or something and clean them...

Any suggestions?

do they have build up on them? i would suggest soaking them in soapy hot water and then rinse them in cold water. sometimes taking an ol toothbrush to scrub can help with product build up.

You are supposed to clean your rollers occasionally. Don't ask me how b/c I haven't done it yet But soaking them would probably do a good job.

I never thought about it. I figured you don't have to, because the people at the shop never wash those rollers erplexed

I used to get a bucket and fill it up with warm water. Let the rollers soak for about 15 mins. Add a bit of shampoo or soap and use a brush to scrub. Rinse and spread the rollers out on paper towels to dry.

Its good to wash them every now and then. All the grease and dirt builds up on the rollers and you end up rolling your hair with it.

I was just thinkin about this the other day cause my rollers are oily as hell! (I put oil in my water bottle)

when they go to school they are taught to quat them rollers with everything else...except shears and irons. um that's just gross especially b/c rollers get up and personal w/ the scalps.
