I wrote this in the salon review section but this section gets more traffic. I went to get my hair done for the first time in 9 yrs at Christy's Dominican salon in Richmond va. It was an amazing experience. They were very knowledgeable about haircare. I brought my own dc with me and they gave me a steam treatment for 15 min. Then she proceeded to blowdry my hair and flat iron it. She gave me a trim(first one in 2 yrs) and only took off the very ends. She was sweet and courteous. She gave me advice on my dandruff. And told me to only get it done once a month. She used a denman brush to detangle. They were very knowledgeable about black hair care. She also used a heat protectant which I liked. It only took an hr and a half to do. I highly recommend them. I'm very picky about who does my hair but I was so pleased I gave her a $10 tip.
