Your pic wasn't up - but congrats - I just BC a few months ago and I know it can be a freeing to have a fresh start.

Happy Hair Growing!!

Congrats! 5 years ago I did the exact same thing, and haven't looked back, your big chop looks great!! Enjoy your journey!!

You gotta do what's best for you! I'm proud of you for not trying to hold on to something that wasn't working for you. Your natural hair is awesome.

Thank you very much ALWAYZL8 for the pep talk. Hope you reach your goal. Haven't had and negative responses yet, they have all been great. This is my second bc, did it before apx. 8 to 9 years ago. You would think I had learned my lesson.:pullhair: Oh well. Didn't have lhcf at that time to help me through it. Now that I do I'm all about fresh starts. :rosebud:

Love the natural.

Your relaxed hair looks great too, but looks don't matter when it isn't as healthy as you want it, huh?

Seems like alot of ladies are going natural now.

Freedom!

You look gawgeous dawling!!

100% yes. Not only was my hair in bad shape but my scalp was the pits. I made several trips to the doctor, prescribed medication to shampoo each and every day, talk about a drag. I knew right then and there I had to do something different. I remember as a little girl how moist and soft my hair was and I missed that. I never had big problems with my scalp back then. So going back to nature is so cool, less problems, less money, no headacks. :yep: With natural hair I am the one in control.
To me that's very important. What you ladies say:think::feedback:?
