Hi all.

I have a tub of cholestoral that I haven't used. I don't want it to go to waste. So I was thinking, I need protein, but I know it can make your hair hard.

If I mix the cholestoral, egg and a little of EVOO, do you think that will help me with the dryness?:perplexed All suggestions are welcome.:yep:

is cholesterol a moisture treatment or a protein? also I know this doesn't really answer your question but i have read on here that some people have put egg in their conditioners or whatever and if they rinsed it out with water that was too hot, the eggs sort of cooked in their hair

I did this. It came out horrible. My hair was hard and dry and the cholesterol and oil didn't help me.

Eggs and mayonaise works really well. I like to put the mix on dry hair then shampoo concentrating on my scalp only. After I wash I condition with suave to detangle, then I do a deep shea butter cholestoral treatment overnight and rinse in the morining.

Thanks for the responses. Now I am up in the air about it. I don't want my hair too hard, but I need some strength to it. I just don't know.

Have you tried the egg, cheapie conditioner and oils then use the cholesterol afterwards, cholesterols are mainly moisturising conditioners. I tried this and my hair was fab I'm natural though. Personally I think you should give it a go its all about trial and error isn't it?

why dont you use the cholesterol and a little honey. i wouldnt do the egg thing. hope that helps.
