Hey Ladies,

I need your advice. I plan on relaxing my hair on Saturday but I want to make sure my hair is strong when i do it.

Do you think me shampoing with Kenra Chelating 'poo then using the aphogee hard core to strenthen my hair tonight is a good idea followed by a deep condition?

Then 3 days later I relax.

Please let me know if what I plan on doing above makes sense. The end result for me is for the relaxer to take well on my hair because it hasn't for the last little while. I have no breakage. I just moisture twice daily.

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Girl, thanks for bumping!!

I need help y'all!!! time is a ticking!

I've done pretty well with my tresses since i started on here and want to keep it that way. I thnk what i'm trying to do makes since but i need the EXPERTS on here to verify for me please!

please please please!

Why don't you chelate first and then do a lighter protein treatment (like the Aphogee 2 minute keratin) since you aren't currently experiencing any breakage?

thanks...Sistaslick & La Flaca,

i will take your advice....i will use the lighter aphogee treatment...and save the heavy for 6 weeks after my relaxer.

i may do the relaxer Sunday instead of Saturday...4 days.

No, not a good idea. You should do your protein treatment the week prior to your touch up. I agree with the post before me, try the Aphogee 2 minute Keratin Reconstructor.
