Hello Ladies!

I have been away for sooo long. I got my masters and started back teaching full time so I haven't had time for the boards but I have to say I am so grateful for finding this place. It has taught me so much and I can say that I have made some good progress. I have had one cut this past year( just wanted to clean up some thangs!) but other than that, I've just been trying to grow out this short cut.

When I first started Sept. 08

I prepood with Olive and coconut oil, then washed, and deep conditioned my hair under the dryer for an hour(running my mouth on the phone!) Then I put in a leave in and heat protectant then sat back under the dryer until 80% dry. Followed up with a blow dry and flatiron with my FHI. I do this once a week. I had been trying to stay away from heat but my hair was NOT having that.

I flatiron my hair pretty tight so It would still have a nice curl to it in the morning.

My hair grows pretty slow but as long as it's healthy, thats all that matters. I'll reach mid-back one day LOL :::side eye:::
