I think the results have something to do with the marine protein. Maybe someone here has taken them before and can comment further. Thanks for the info.

I was TOTALLY thinking the exact same thing!! I mean I think that's Viviscal's mane (get it mane...sorry I'm being silly, LOL) ingredient as well.
My question is....Does anyone know the exact Marine Protein Supplement that this would be? I'm sure it's cheaper than both Viviscal and the GNC stuff....
I think it was on this board, but someone had figured out what the Marine Protein could be. I want to say shark cartlidge but I don't believe that was it.....
If someone knows (our reasearch queens out there) please post
Hi Ladies, if you do a search of Viviscal you will find information on the GNC product that is suppose to give you the sam e results of viviscal. I have done a comparison of the viviscal ingredients, the Delinea ingredients, and the Elite Marine protein ingredients. I have listed them below:
Delinea
(1) tablet
Natural Marine Protein Complex 250mg
Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) 30mg
Vitamin E (as Natural d-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate) 5IU
Zinc (as Zinc Proteinate) 7.5mg
Silica(as Horsetail Herb) 3.5mg
Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Natural Orange
Viviscal
(1) tablet 500mg tablet of Viviscal contains
Natural Extract Mixture of Marine Origin 300mg
Acerola Extract (correspo. To Vitamin C 30mg) 120mg
Silica Compound 30mg
Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate and Black Currant Flovour
Elite Marine Protein (1 tablet)
Marine Protein 300mg
Beta-Carotene 100mg
Tocopherol 30mg
Ascorbic Acid 30mg
Co Q-10 5mg
Zinc 3mg
Silicon Dioxide 2mg
Selenium 10mcg
Biotin 5mcg
I just started taking the Elite Marine Protein about a week ago. I've also have been taking the biotin (5mg) for about 4 weeks now. I'm still getting the scalp action!!!
I have used the Delinea before also, but I didn't like the price. I'm going to stick w/ the Marine. The cost of the Elite marine protein was about $8 online. The Delinea on sale is $26.99 from GNC. I would hate to imagine what the cost of Viviscal is???
So do you guys think that Marine Protein is just, say, fish oil or.......?
I'm trying to get to the source
It reminds me of when everyone was taking that Shin Min (back in the day) but we found out the "magic" was in the Fo-ti and that worked perfectly and for less, that's what I'd like to do with the Viviscal stuff.
I'm sure this GNC supplement would work because I had success with Viviscal, but if I could find the actual ingredient that would be helpful.
Do you guys (Jade, Amethyst or other vitamin guru's) happen to know what is meant by Marine Protein?
Hey yall, I ordered the Elite Marine protein from Iherb last night after reading that info. I should get it in a few days. OK that's it for me. No more supplements. Thanks again for posting this info Dionne.
Oh BTW, Boadicea has the Elite marine protein for sale on the swap board.

Here's an explanantion of what Viviscal is supposed to do:
How does Viviscal work?
The process itself is proprietary, but here is a basic outline: Viviscal works by carrying the nutrients through the blood-stream acting directly on the scalp hair follicles stimulating both resting and actively growing hair. The unique marine protein nutrition loosens any barriers around the follicles allowing more blood flow so that essential vitamins and proteins can get through. It also supports the main hair/skin/nail protein, Keratin. These are some of the many things that makes Viviscal unique.
