But you asked about hair (her crazy personality and great accent totally distracted me) I think her braids look very cool. It really suits her. I don't think I could pull it off personally, but on the right woman it could be hot.

I too thought they looked heavy, but it seemed to really work for her (no sign of pulled hairline from the weight of the braids)

I was trying to go for this length when I did my yarn braids. I didn't succeed because it took way too much time. However, as someone who wore regular braids for years, I found yarn braids to be lighter. So I would definitely give this style a try (when I have the patience
