Cheap Keratin treatment

So I was in the dollar store and I found this Vo5 Condi with Keratin in it.
It's called Hydrators and has Keratin listed as fifth ingredient.
I did a quick search but could not find to much about it.
Most reviews were positive but there were hardly any new ones.
Who here has tried it and liked it?
I think it sounds really good and I'll try it very soon.
Just wanted to share with you ladies

Yes! I have seen that before, but it's never at my local krogers.

I wanted to try it as a prepoo since it has protein in it. I was reading a review (not from here) and a person who was a regular co-washer uses this as her "protein cowash" every now and then to maintain her protein/moisture balance. It sounds like it is worth a try.

what does keratin do for the hair strands?

Keratin is the protein our hair is made off.
If you're relaxed like me you'll want to pack up on it since the relaxer rips it of your strands.

I think you can only get it from a dollar store,i've never seen it somewhere else
