Hair Fanatic
Hello All,

I have recently adopted the practice of using a cheap conditioner as sort of like a cream leave in as I would use my mango butter and I love it. I had problems with the mango butter turning white in my hair after it dried (probably because I'm a little heavy handed

), but so far so good on the conditioner. My question is, for all who also use a regular wash out conditioner in this manner, do you use it daily if you are wearing a bun or ponytail, you know as a daily moisturizer, or only after your wash. My conditioner is pretty moisturizing, the smell is heavenly, it has my hair feeling like silk, and it doesn’t have any protein in it, I'm just not sure if you can use a wash out product every day as a leave in. Any suggestions? TIA

In this month's Essence( with Monique on the cover), it says not to use regular conditioner as a leave-in. Has anyone had any negative experiences?
I personally haven't, but I've only been doing this for a month.
