"Tourmaline is a precious stone that possesses the ability to release negative ions when heated. These negative ions are beneficial because they result in less damage to the hair cuticle, allowing for a smooth and shiny finish. True ceramic/Tourmaline plates guarantee a smooth straightening motion without pulling or breaking hair, allowing hair to become up to three times smoother and silkier than when using an ordinary ceramic iron. They also generate six times more negative ions than other ceramic irons, cutting your hair straightening time in half, renewing luster, and eliminating frizz."
I've tried the chi, fhi, and sedu revolution. When I used the chi, I found that it left my hair dry and dull and weak. The fhi is a close second because it did a great job with getting my hair straight but the plates make me nervous sometimes because they pull my hair sometimes. Right now, I own the sedu revolution and it is by far my absolute favorite!! It has the edge on the others because the plates are as smooth as glass (literally) and I find that it aids in preventing pulls and snaps that I fear from other great flatirons.
I'd say stick with tourmaline and you'll have salon results without damage every time. Just be sure to prep your hair properly with conditioners, reconstructs etc.![]()

So it the sedu revolution tourmaline ionic flat iron or the sedu revolution limited edition?genesislocks said:I'd say tourmaline. It's like the best of ceramic and ionic wrapped into one.
