My handy dandy Jilbere Ceramic Flat Iron must be ceramic plated (since it only cost me 35 bucks). I'm still wondering why I purchased it (since I've only used it a few times so far).

wow! that's a generous offer. I went the el cheapo way also, so mine has to be plated. Works like a charm though.

My Jibere is ceramic plated but I like the results. Of course, I have nothing to compare it to...perhaps it works for me because my hair is fine textured?

Ijust purchased the SEDU it's 100% CERAMIC and TOURMALINE-which is supposed to make your hair more SILKY!!! It set me back a WHOPPING $98 bucks!!!! It better last 4 eva!!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

/images/graemlins/ohwell.gif Why didn't I know to look for 100% ceramic. /images/graemlins/frown.gif I guess since it was under $50 it's plated. What a waste. But I do like it and I can use a super low setting and it leaves my hair w/nice body though it's really straight.

I believe they have them in Sally's but I got mine from ebay. I love it.

I love love love my Sedu. /images/graemlins/clap.gif I originally wanted the FHI but my brother was taking too long to get it into his BSS. When he finally got it in, he let me try it out and I must say, I'm glad I purchased the Sedu because it's something about that ceramic and tourmaline combo that really makes the hair silky smooth and the Sedu didn't snag like the FHI did either. So the Sedu is a keeper for me. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
