Has anyone tried any of these carol's daughters products. If so, what were your reviews. Thank ya' kindly.

too greasy...an ex told me to stop puttin that stuff in my hair when i came over b/c it ruuined his pillows

It depends on what you are using it for and also if you are relaxed or natural. From reading reviews on this site, it seems like a lot of relaxed ladies find Carol's Daugthers products to heavy.

With that being said, Hair Milk is better for wash and go styles and is the lighter of the two.

Hair butter has a thicker consistency. I use it for my two strand twists. I mix it with the Mimosa Hair Honey and it works well.

HTH

I have the Tui (?) hair oil, Lisa's hair Elixir and the Healthy hair butter. I love the HHB, It makes my edges lay down flat. But it is very greasy so you have to use it sparingly. I like to use it in place of gel because it leaves my hair soft and it holds my hair in place.

The Tui(?) hair oil smells like bubble gum (that's all I can say about it...:ohwell:)
My mother loves Lisa's hair elixir. She said it made her shedding stop. I like it because it sooths my scalp :yep:. HTH

I use the healthy hair butter and the hair milk. I love the hair butter and a little goes a long ways. I apply it a dab at a time and it works well, my hair is not left greasy at all.

Hey Ladies,
I absolutely adore Healthy Hair Butter. I definitely agree that a little goes a long way. For those who say it was to greasy, I suggest using less each time. The smell is very calming to me because it sort of smells like tea. I also suggest refrigerating the butter it keeps much longer that way. It makes my 4a/4b hair so smooth and silky. I absolutely head over heels for this stuff.:drunk:

Yeesh! Hair Milk provided good moisturizing, but . . . I couldn't get past the smell. It was awful!

HHB worked well for me when my hair wasn't relaxed bone straight. It's pretty thick, and I probably wouldn't use it now that I've been aiming for straighter hair when relaxing. Overall, I didn't understand the hype and wouldn't buy either product again.
