Ladies tell me I have been doing research on castor oil and it says that over time it thickens your hair. Well how can it do that if it just coats the outside of the hair shaft.
I think that it protects your strands from breakage. So you hold on to more hair over time. It is a humectant, so it draws in moisture from the air. As your hair is getting longer, the only hair you should really lose is shed hair. That's my theory, but I hope I made sense
