Castor Oil

Is castor oil in the jar good for sealing edges down when wearing buns or ponytails.Any sugestions, I need something real strong to hold me edges down because I 'm going to starting wearing one of the artificial buns, and I'm five weeks post relaxer. Someone told me curling wax, would do the job too, but I'm not sure.

castor oil in the jar? not sure which that is but adding any type of castor oil (or prob any oil) followed by tying your edges down with a silk scarf will do the trick!
